Terms of Service

DRAFT — placeholder copy pending legal review before launch. Do not treat as the final agreement.

These terms govern your use of Myzo, including the Myzo parent and child apps, the website at getmyzo.com, and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.

Who can use Myzo

You must be at least 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian, and able to enter into a binding contract to open a Myzo account. Children under 13 may only use Myzo through a profile created and supervised by their parent or guardian.

Your account

You’re responsible for keeping your account password safe and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.

You can close your account at any time. See the Account Deletion page for how.

Subscriptions and billing

Myzo offers a 14-day free trial when you create an account. The trial begins when your child first uses the app, not at signup. We collect your payment method at signup so we can charge the plan you selected when the trial ends. We’ll email you before the first charge.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from the parent app or by emailing support@getmyzo.com.

Pricing and current plan details are on our pricing page. Promotional pricing applies only to the plan you sign up under and may not be available on renewal.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Myzo for anyone other than yourself and your own children
  • Try to access another family’s data, or interfere with the Service’s security
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the apps
  • Use Myzo to harass, defraud, or harm any person
  • Resell or sublicense the Service

Content you create

You own the tasks, notes, grades, and other content you and your family enter into Myzo. You grant us the limited right to store and process that content solely to operate the Service for you.

Our intellectual property

The Myzo apps, brand, website, and underlying software are owned by us and our licensors. These terms don’t give you rights to use our trademarks or sell the Service.

Disclaimers and limits of liability

Myzo is provided “as is.” We work hard to keep the Service reliable, but we can’t guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Myzo is a productivity tool, not a medical, educational, or therapeutic service. It’s not a substitute for professional help.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid Myzo in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. If we make material changes, we’ll email active accounts and post the new version here with the updated date at the top. Continued use of Myzo after the change means you accept it.
